Once a boy has made the decision to leave their life on the streets, Masana starts the process of reintegrating them. Boys are brought into our transitional housing program for a month in order to be more personally mentored and counseled. This is also a time for boys to shed the many aspects of streetlife that are frequently conditioned into them from years of street-living. During this time boys take part in regular meetings with their families and participate in normal community living with household responsibilities. We also take in boys who are sick or injured on the streets while they are recovering from illness.
